About

All Woodburn Area Resources Enlisted, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that is committed to non-discrimination. We have one part-time employee and many volunteers.
Our contractual relationships with the US Department of Agriculture, the Oregon Food Bank (state-wide agency), and Marion-Polk Food Share (regional agency). are the source of most of our food. We also receive many valuable donations from individuals, churches, community service organizations, wholesale food distributors, and grocery stores.

Mission

No one in our community or your community should ever suffer from hunger. That is why we are dedicated to helping those in need. To achieve that, we rely on assistance and donations from supporters.

It costs about $1500 a month just to open our doors to serve the hungry. We serve about fifty families a day - about 800 families a month.

Just like you, we have to pay for heating, lighting, and water but, unlike you, we have more than 15 refrigerators and freezers to store our food.
